Drive away in a 2019 Subaru BRZ!

The Subaru BRZ is a bit of an outlier to the Subaru brand. It's not the only performance model (the Subaru WRX also has some impressive horsepower specs), but it does have a sleeker look than the rest of the new Subaru models. The BRZ is also the only Subaru that doesn't come with standard symmetrical all-wheel drive, and instead has a rear-wheel drive drive setup. It's the perfect vehicle for current Subaru owners who, for example, want to have their Subaru Outback during the week and have something fun to drive on the weekend!

The BRZ comes in three trims: Premium, Limited, and for 2019 there's the limited-edition Series.Gray. We'll help you pick the right one for your garage.

Performance

If you buy or lease the manual transmissions, all trims get a 2.0L with 205 horsepower & 156 lb-ft torque. Automatic drivers get the same engine and paddle shifters, but the specs dip slightly to 200 horsepower and 151 lb-ft torque.

Performance wise, the BRZ has a standard electronic limited-slip differential. The Limited can get a performance package with Brembo® brakes and SACHS® shock absorbers for bumpier backroad rides. The Series.Gray trim automatically gets the performance package.

Style

The BRZ is a good-looking vehicle that blends performance and a bit of sultry appeal. For a more upscale look, choose the Limited and enjoy the Alcantara® and leather-trimmed seats. If you'd prefer an edgier take, the Series.Gray has a blue-meets-khaki paint job, blacked out wheels and Subaru badges, and a few other interior and exterior updates. It's also worth noting that only 250 Series.Gray models are being produced, and we're proud to have a few!

Technology

The good news is that all BRZ trims come with a touchscreen. It starts at 6.2-inches on the Premium, but the Limited and Series.Gray have a larger 7-inch screen. You'll also get Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ with the 7-inch screen.

You really cannot go wrong with any of the 2019 Subaru BRZ models, but each one has its own flair and features. Stop into our dealership this week to check out our selection.
